Police officers from Ostrołęka detained a 30-year-old woman suspected of possessing, among other things, amphetamine. She tried to convince the police officers who checked her ID that it was plaster.

The spokesman for the Municipal Police Headquarters in Ostrołęka, com. Tomasz Żerański, informed that the police officers had identified the 30-year-old woman not by accident. They suspected that the woman might be in possession of drugs.

At the time of detention, on Monday morning, the 30-year-old was sitting in a car in the forest in Ostrołęka. At first, the woman told the police that she had gone to the forest because she was nervous and wanted to smoke a cigarette. In the process of establishing her identity, she showed the police her ID card, on which there was a white powder. – To the question: what is this substance, she said that it is building gypsum, because the house had recently been renovated. Then she changed her mind saying it was codeine. However, the police were not deceived, the spokesman said.

After checking the woman’s pockets, it turned out that she had ziplock bags with white powder and dried plants. It was methamphetamine and marijuana. The 30-year-old was taken to the Ostrołęka police station and placed in police custody. She pleaded guilty to drug possession on Tuesday. He will answer to the court soon.
