The Pepco chain announced the withdrawal of two products aimed at children from its stores. As indicated in the messages, they do not meet “safety standards”. Pepco is asking customers who purchased these goods to return them.

The company announced the recall of two products. “Tattoo hair chalks” and “fudge baby rattles”.

The chain calls for the return of already purchased products. It can be made in any Pepco store, you do not need to have a receipt.

The statement about the product withdrawal stated that “as a result of the tests carried out, it was found that the product presented above is inconsistent with the requirements of European Regulation (EC) No. 1223/2009 on cosmetic products. Unauthorized dyes were detected in the product.”

“As a result of the tests carried out, it was found that the product presented above does not comply with the requirements of the European toy standard EN 71-1:2014+A1:2018. The product poses a risk of choking due to the possibility of detachment of small parts,” the network reported.
