About 19,000 chicken chicks were burned as a result of Tuesday’s fire in a chicken coop in the village of Kiełpino in Kartuzy County (Pomeranian Voivodeship). 11 fire engines battled the fire.
On Tuesday around 4:30 p.m., the services received a report about a fire in a chicken coop in the village of Kiełpino in the Kartuzy district. According to the press officer of the KP PSP in Kartuzy, junior brig. Marek Szwaba, at the time of the arrival of the first hosts to the scene, the fire covered almost the entire henhouse with dimensions of 100 mx 13 m and its roof.
