A 46-year-old man died in an accident near Sieradz (Łódź Voivodeship). The car he was driving went off the road on a bend and hit a tree. The circumstances of the incident are being investigated by the police under the supervision of the prosecutor’s office.
The incident took place on Sunday in the commune of Brzeźnio in the Sieradz poviat. Authorities received a report of a car that had left the road and hit a tree.

– After arriving at the scene, firefighters found a broken car. The driver of the vehicle was trapped inside. Firefighters used hydraulic tools to extricate the man and began CPR, which lasted more than 50 minutes. Despite the efforts of doctors, the man died – informs senior captain.
