On Thursday late in the evening, the world’s seismological centers registered a strong 4.5 degree shock in the vicinity of the Rudna mine. Radio Wrocław, citing the Polish Copper Press Office, reported that seven miners did not appear at the checkpoints after the quake.
On Thursday at 21.54 near the Rudna mine, the world’s seismological centers registered a tremor.
Radio Wrocław informed that the Mining and Metallurgical Rescue Units in Sobin were sent towards the mine. After an hour, the station reported, citing the Polish Copper Press Office, that seven miners did not appear at the checkpoints after the quake.
As the radio writes, rescuers are trying to locate the miners and bring them to the surface – it is not known whether the miners are injured.
