The actors, who have known each other since elementary school and tried to develop together, returned to those times in the latest interview.

After graduating from elementary school, later stars went to the same high school. It was in high school that they began to develop in the direction of acting.

Affleck and Damon talked about their difficult beginnings in the film industry in the episode of “The Bill Simmons Podcast” published on March 22. In it, the actors mentioned that when they were in high school, they opened a joint bank account where they collected money to develop their careers. “As long as (at least) one of us had the money, we knew the electricity wouldn’t be cut off,” Damon said. – In 1993, after starring in the movie “Geronimo”, I put aside about $ 35,000 in this account. I thought: it’s okay, it’s enough for us for a year – added the actor.
He explained that initially, he and Affleck used the money set aside in a joint account to cover the costs of traveling to acting castings, but also for small pleasures. – We allowed ourselves to spend this money on trips to New York, where auditions were held. We also allowed ourselves to withdraw $10 so we could go to the arcade and play on the console. Eventually, we started trying to buy beer with the money, which never worked (they were high school students – ed.) – emphasized Damon.
