The Warsaw city guard warns that from Sunday to Tuesday there may be difficulties in connecting to the emergency number 986. The reason will be service work related to the change of telecommunications operator.
The communiqué on the difficulties was published by the guards on Friday. “Due to the change of the telecommunications operator from January 1 to January 3, 2023, there may be difficulties in making telephone calls to the City Guard of the Capital City of Warsaw” – it was reported.
The city guard has the emergency number 986 and the number for emergency text messages 723 986 112. The second number is used, among others, to report acts of vandalism or dangerous situations for passengers of ground public transport and deaf people. It is enough to send him a message with the content HELP to receive a template with an application to be completed and sent back.
Residents can also submit reports via the Warszawa 19115 portal or application. However, it should be remembered that the municipal contact platform is used to provide information about problems that should be dealt with by municipal services, except for those related to a direct threat to life or health. We report such cases immediately to the emergency number 112.
