42-year-old Dominika Stelmach won the Wings for Life world race among women for the second time. He specializes in long-distance running. She is a runner, marathon runner, ultramarathon runner, personal trainer, PZLA and fitness instructor. She broke the world record in the 12-hour run and has won many Polish championships. She is a historian and Europeanist by education, and she also graduated in sports marketing. He has two sons.

At 4:40 p.m., after almost four hours, she caught up with Dominika Stelmach during the Wings for Life race. Stelmach started from Poznań and won the world women's category for the second time. She ran 55.02 km.

Dominika Stelmach comes from Łódź. She is a runner, marathon runner, ultramarathon runner, personal trainer, PZLA instructor, and fitness instructor.

When asked if she was satisfied with the result, she said that “everything went smoothly, even though the conditions were really not favorable for us today. It was very muggy, very warm at the beginning and almost all the time against the wind – she admitted. – Looking at the conditions , I just knew that today such running would be enough – she added.

Dominika Stelmach – who is she?

She boasted about many successes on her website. She is the Polish record holder in 50 km, 100 km, 6 h, 12 h runs, silver medalist of the World Mountain Running Championships (2018), Polish marathon champion (Dębno 2017), Polish champion in long- and short-distance mountain running, bronze medalist of the 50 km European Championships (2022). On May 3, she also won the May 3 Constitution Run in Warsaw (2024).

Stelmach was born on February 28, 1892. “I belong to the generation that experienced the transformation at school and easily accepted the new state of affairs. However, I did not go to school very often, because I was lucky to receive the last of the real state funding for sports. A sports primary school with a skating profile meant constant stays at camps, many hours of training. It was nice and intense. I know that the fitness I gained then is still paying off today,” the runner describes her childhood.

She started her adventure with running at the age of 13-14, when she had a “short episode of hurdles”. “In high school, I practically put my sports clothes in the closet, although I played tennis, climbed, rode horses, and skied in the winter – but this was not the basis of my existence.”

She admits that she discovered running when she was 22. She then signed up for the half marathon in Łódź. In 2011, she graduated in sports marketing from the Warsaw School of Economics. She is also a historian and Europeanist (UŁ). He has also completed 9 semesters of physical education studies. During her studies, she became a sports and fitness instructor. He specializes in athletics, and more specifically in long runs.

She has two sons (born 2010 and 2013), whom she raises with her husband. “My husband and I are a very active team. We try to get the most out of life by discovering an interesting world for our children,” she admits.
