19 fire brigades extinguish a fire that broke out in the evening in Wola Ducka near Otwock (Mazowieckie). A pile of garbage is burning on the premises of one of the companies. The Mayor of Otwock, Jarosław Margielski, appealed “to close the windows and avoid staying outside the buildings”. We received the recording from the scene on Kontakt 24.
The notification was received by the services at 19.35. – On the premises of one of the companies, a pile of garbage measuring thirty by forty by five (meters – ed.) is burning. There is no threat to buildings and people, no one was hurt – said the duty officer of the District Headquarters of the State Fire Service in Otwock.
He added that the fire is no longer spreading. – Nineteen hosts are working on the spot – finished the fireman.
Appeal of the President of Otwock
In connection with the fire, the mayor of Otwock, Jarosław Margielski, posted a message on social media.
“Ladies and gentlemen, due to the fire of waste in the area of the PPHU Lekaro plant, please close the windows and avoid staying outside the buildings. The announcement applies especially to the areas of Otwock: Świerk, Jabłonna, Wólka Mladzka, Młądz” – he wrote.
