The District Prosecutor’s Office in Wrocław announced that the autopsy of a 17-year-old whose body was found on Friday in an apartment in Wrocław did not reveal the cause of death. The investigation into the teenager’s death is being conducted as unintentional manslaughter.

The 17-year-old left home on September 4, telling his relatives that he was going shopping. The teenager’s body was found on Friday in one of the apartments in the Old Town.

The prosecutor’s office initiated an investigation into unintentional manslaughter.

“The autopsy did not indicate the cause of death”

An autopsy of the deceased teenager was performed on Tuesday. “The autopsy did not indicate the cause of death. No injuries were found on the deceased’s body, especially those that could have resulted in death,” prosecutor Placzek-Grzelak told PAP. She added that there were no signs of restraint on the teenager’s body. Local media reported that the 17-year-old’s body was tied up, citing the deceased’s relatives.

The prosecutor’s office also ordered toxicological tests. Their results will be known in a few weeks.
