Monday in the Croatian part of Dalmatia welcomed drivers with snowfall, the first snowfall this autumn in this region. However, it was not a nice start to the week – drivers had to expect difficulties.

After a cold night, during which the temperature dropped to -7 degrees Celsius in the part of Zagora, in central Dalmatia, there was a cloudy morning. It brought the first autumn snowfall in this part of Croatia.

“It took us by surprise, but we will endure.”

“The speed limit on the A1 Zagreb-Plocze-Karamaticzi highway was 40 kilometers per hour due to freezing rain and snow,” Croatian road engineers reported.

Trucks got stuck on slippery slopes, causing difficulties and collisions. Drivers had to wait in traffic jams, including in the direction of Split.
