They had been watching him for some time, finally decided to visit him and found drugs and a stolen bicycle. The 37-year-old was temporarily arrested.
A few days ago, police officers from the operational and reconnaissance department of the downtown police station paid a visit to a 37-year-old man suspected of illegal activity. They decided to check the basement he occupied in one of the buildings on Piękna Street.
– They found portioned drugs there, a total of almost half a kilogram of various substances, as well as cell phones, jewelry scales and money – informs Sgt. pcs. Jakub Pacyniak from the downtown police. – They also checked all the things stored in this “warehouse”. It turned out that there was a bicycle stolen last year in Warsaw – he adds.
A night in a cell, then charges and arrest
The 37-year-old was taken to the Warsaw I District Police Headquarters. After spending a night in a police cell, he was charged with possessing a significant amount of drugs. The court agreed to the prosecutor's request and imposed temporary arrest on him for a period of three months.
The proceedings in this case are supervised by the Warsaw-Śródmieście District Prosecutor's Office.
