In Błotnik (Pomeranian Voivodeship) you can admire colorful tulips. And for the next three weeks. Some flowers are already blooming, others are just starting. However, the tulip field already attracts tourists who walk among the beds, take photos and pick flowers.
For several years in the vicinity of Cedars Wielkie, and this year in the town of Błotnik (Pomeranian Voivodeship), tulips can be admired at the marina. They are issued by breeders who run the farm “Oh my gosh, tulips!”. They have been harvesting tulip bulbs for many years. It turned out, however, that their flowers arouse great interest, in the spring people love to take pictures with them.
From today (April 29), for three weeks, which is more or less the period of tulips blooming, you can come to the farm, visit it for a symbolic fee, cut the flowers and take them home with you.

The owners of the farm say that tulips are their great passion, but also a huge challenge.

They plant in the fall, now enjoy the flowers
– In dry conditions, they need to be watered very often, at least once a week, about 20-25 liters per square meter, for the flowers to be beautiful, the bulb to grow. Planting is also demanding, because we plant very late, at the end of October, even in mid-November, so these conditions are not very favorable. It is raining, the ground dries poorly – says Tomasz Luzar.
