Forecasters of the Institute of Meteorology and Water Management (IMGW) published a forecast of weather threats for Sunday, Tuesday and Wednesday.
IMGW threat forecast for Sunday
On Sunday, IMGW plans to issue first degree frost warnings for the whole country.
IMGW threat forecast for Tuesday
There is no frost forecast for Monday. Temperatures below zero degrees Celsius could drop again on Tuesday. The first level alerts may apply in the southern counties of the following provinces: Lower Silesia, Silesian, Lesser Poland and Subcarpathian.
IMGW threat forecast for Wednesday
Lightning is also forecast for Wednesday. First degree warnings will probably apply in the southern counties of the following provinces: Lower Silesia, Silesian, Lesser Poland and Subcarpathianas well as in the province Pomeranian, warmińsko-mazurskie, Podlaskie, mazowieckie.
What is the first degree IMGW meteorological warning
The first degree warning provides for conditions conducive to the occurrence of dangerous meteorological phenomena that may cause material damage and threat to health and life. Running a business in conditions of exposure to these factors is difficult and dangerous. Expect difficulties resulting from activities in the area where the threat occurs, including delays caused by traffic obstructions, disruptions in the course of outdoor events or the possibility of their cancellation. Caution recommended, the need to follow messages and weather developments.
