Dimitris has misplaced every thing.

Till Saturday, he owned a secure. Now all that is left is ash.

The constructing and vehicles have been decimated. In minutes, wildfires destroyed every thing he had labored for.

“I misplaced my life. I do not care in regards to the cash as a result of this was my life… now we’ve got nothing,” he says.

Dimitris relies in Kiotari, on the Greek island of Rhodes.

It is one of many resorts which needed to be evacuated over the weekend.

When the fires swept in, he managed to rescue the horses, however it was too late to avoid wasting the chickens. They burned together with every thing else.

“I cried after I noticed it the primary time. I cried, and I am not the one one,” he says.

Within the peak season, he explains, Rhodes welcomes 200,000 guests a day.
