– We do not know where he traveled next, who he associated with, who he lived with and with whom he had contact – said Bartosz Arłukowicz (KO) in “Fakty po Faktach”, commenting on Judge Szmydt's trip to Belarus in 2023, which “most likely they did not know about services”. – Let's ask why the services subordinated to Donald Tusk allowed Judge Szmydt to escape to Belarus – suggested Karol Karski (PiS).

Former Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki admitted on Thursday that Judge Tomasz Szmydt “was probably an agent who had been operating in the state structures for a long time.” According to the coordinator of the special services, Tomasz Siemoniak, Szmydt was in Belarus already in June 2023 and – as Morawiecki, the then prime minister, said – “most likely the services did not know about it.” – Because if they were normal services, operating effectively, they would react – he added.

Arłukowicz: Why could this judge go to Belarus? Two reasons

As Arłukowicz said, “the special services did not react to the fact that the judge, who was positioned higher and higher in PiS power floor by floor, was traveling to Belarus.” – We do not know where he traveled next, who he associated with, who he lived with and with whom he had contact, and what orders he followed – he said.

– Today we are really dealing with the tip of the iceberg – he added. – Why could this judge go to Belarus? Was he theoretically invisible? For two reasons. Either they turned a blind eye to it and didn't want to see it, which would reflect badly on them, or they were so busy spying on their own people that the judge simply drove away, he said.

As he said, “the prime minister was a puppet.” – Firstly, he was a puppet of Jarosław Kaczyński, and secondly, he had no influence on the heavy services that spied on normal people during the PiS era – he said. – They were not concerned with the safety of Poland, us, people, citizens, they were only concerned with the safety of Kamiński and Wąsik – he added.

Karski: let's ask why the services subordinate to Tusk allowed him to escape

Karol Karski stated that “Prime Minister Morawiecki said in a very euphemistic way that he knew nothing about this.” – If we look at the functioning of the services, then let us ask why the services subordinated to Donald Tusk allowed Judge Szmydt to escape to Belarus – he added.

– We all realize that Poland is penetrated by Russian agents, partly by Belarusians, partly by other countries, this is the case in every country. The point is to fight foreign agents. This person escaped and revealed himself in Belarus, he said.

Referring to Szmydt, he said that “he was also the pet of Civic Platform MPs.” – He was the favorite of judges' associations as an authority, he was quoted on the website of the Iustitia association, which was very strongly against Law and Justice – he added.
