A three-month pre-trial detention court in Kraśnik applied to a 32-year-old man who was arrested with drugs during a roadside check. Police officers noticed bags of marijuana in the back seat, and then one of the passengers found a total of more than two kilograms of weed. The 32-year-old faces a sentence of up to 10 years in prison.
In Kraśnik, a police patrol stopped a passenger car for inspection. The car was driven by a 20-year-old woman and two passengers were traveling with her. In the back seat, the uniforms noticed bags with green drought. It turned out to be marijuana.
– In the course of their activities, the criminals determined that the bags may belong to a 32-year-old passenger – a resident of the Annopol commune. Police officers revealed a total of over two kilograms of this drug during further searches – reports junior aspirant Paweł Cieliczko, press officer of the District Police Headquarters in Kraśnik. He adds: – Thanks to the actions of the officers, drugs with a black market value of over PLN 100,000 were not sold.
According to police, the 32-year-old was charged with possession of a large amount of drugs, for which he could face up to 10 years in prison. The court imposed a three-month pre-trial detention on the man, and the investigators seized the drugs.
