A Mercedes driven by an intoxicated 50-year-old drove into a playground in Lutomiersk (Łódź Voivodeship). Fortunately, there were no children there. According to the police, the driver behaved aggressively, was vulgar and violated the inviolability of the intervening officers.
Information about the incident, which took place on Wednesday, was provided by the Pabianice police spokeswoman, Sgt. staff. Agnes Jachimek. The man drove into the playground, where his Mercedes got stuck in the sandbox. A police patrol went to the spot, but the driver refused to give the officers his details.
– He smelled of alcohol. The police decided to arrest the 50-year-old. Then the inhabitant of Lutomiersk became aggressive and vulgar. He insulted and violated the bodily integrity of the officers, resisted during the arrest and influenced their official activities so that they would refrain from performing them, the policewoman reported.

According to witnesses, the driver of the Mercedes lost control of the vehicle and drove into the playground. Fortunately, there were no children there at the time. – The man had more than two times the legal limit of alcohol in his system. He pleaded guilty to the charges against him, the spokeswoman said.
