TVN24 is at the top of the ranking of the most opinion-forming television stations of the decade – according to an analysis by the Institute of Media Monitoring (IMM). The station was cited 181.8 thousand times in 2014-2023.
– The report The most opinion-forming media in Poland is a project that distinguishes media opinion leaders and shows the editorial offices that have the greatest influence on creating public debate. The analysis has been published monthly, continuously since September 2003, i.e. for over 20 years. Additionally, at the end of each year we publish an annual report, and every 10 years a report of the decade – said Paweł Sanowski, president of the management board of the Institute of Media Monitoring, quoted in the release.
He added that the latest edition of the study summarizes the years 2014-2023.
Station TVN24 thanks to 181.8 thousand mentions won in the ranking of the most opinion-forming television stations of the decade. The third position in this ranking belongs to the editorial office TVN, which was referred to by the media 91.2 thousand times. times.
The most opinion-forming television stations of the decade
Polsat News took second place, which was cited 111.4 thousand in the years 2014-2023. times, and the top five also included TVP Info (87.8 thousand mentions) and TVP 1 (37.3 thousand references).
The TVN24 station was also ranked fifth in the general ranking of the most opinion-forming media of the past decade. First place went to Onet (236.6 thousand citations), second to RMF FM (209.1 thousand), and third to the Rzeczpospolita daily (199.5 thousand).
“The study for the decade 2014-2023 was conducted on the basis of over 3.1 million messages from press, radio and television monitoring as well as Internet portals (until 2018, the study did not include citations on portals). Time scope of the analysis: January 1, 2014 – December 31, 2023 year,” explained IMM.
