Unusual action by customs services on the border between Poland and Ukraine.
As we read, during a check at the border crossing, a world-famous Stradivarius violin was discovered in the trunk of one of the cars.

“Border and customs services Ukrainy thwarted the smuggling of Stradivarius violins, which were attempted to be taken to… Polish through one of the crossing points between the two countries,” the State Border Service of Ukraine reported on Friday.
The officers added that “the instrument found in the trunk of a car, which was headed to Poland.” The message states that the priceless instrument was detained and sent for an expert opinion.
As we read, the instrument was made by Antoni Stradivari in 1713.

Antonio Stradivari was an Italian luthier, one of the greatest instrument builders in the history of violin making. He lived at the turn of the 17th and 18th centuries. Stradivariusy are considered the greatest achievements in violin making, they were a model for many later instrument manufacturers.
It came from the workshop of a famous Italian luthier over 1000 violins, violas and cellos, of which – it is believed – approximately 650 instruments. According to experts, the greatest ones were created between 1700 and 1725.
