After a deeper analysis and on the basis of requests for an audit received by the Supreme Audit Office from many centers, not only political ones, including the Confederation, we decided to carry it out, he said.
He added that “we have received quite a large amount of information from employees of diplomatic missions who point out very serious irregularities.” – We know that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs is a sensitive ministry, and the stability and authority of diplomacy is of great importance, so this scandal has certainly harmed us as a country and we must do everything to prevent it from happening again. This is a huge blow to Poland’s image, he added.
