Negotiations on the supply of artillery shells to the Ukrainian army have been completed by officials of the Czech government. The initiative undertaken by the Czech president was a success. It was announced that Ukraine would receive as much as a million bullets.
“Corriere Della Sera” reported that the government of Prague, together with several countries, concluded contracts for the supply of ammunition, paying an estimated approximately EUR 1.8 billion. The countries that ensured the financial success of this project included: Germany, France, the Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, Poland and Canada. The Czech Republic was, of course, also to provide its own contribution.
