– In Wrocław, over 600 shops have a license to sell alcohol. We decided to check whether and how sellers verify the age of young customers. The results of the research left no doubt – most stores do not ask for proof, do not ask about the age of buyers. That is why we decided to act and involve the residents in this action – said Bartłomiej Świerczewski, director of the social affairs department of the Wrocław magistrate, during the press conference.
