Seven people were detained after a 53-year-old man was found dead in Gdów near Wieliczka (Lesser Poland Voivodeship). The body of a man with multiple injuries was discovered in an apartment he was renting. So far, no one has been charged.
The body of a 53-year-old citizen of Ukraine was found on Tuesday (January 10) around 2 pm in one of the apartments in Gdów near Wieliczka. – We have detained seven people in this case, including six Ukrainian citizens and one Pole – senior aspirant Paweł Tomasik, spokesman for the Wieliczka police, told tvn24.pl.
Police: 53-year-old found dead in rented apartment
Police say the 53-year-old was found dead in the apartment he was renting. – The injuries revealed on the body of the deceased indicate that third parties contributed to his death – said Tomasik.
All the detainees appear in the case as witnesses. So far, the District Prosecutor’s Office in Myślenice, which is conducting the proceedings, has not decided to bring charges. – The possible participation (of the detained – ed.) in the man’s death will be determined – added Tomasik.
